Family Law Attorney

A law firm in North Miami Beach, FL, is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience practicing Family Law in Florida and possess expertise in handling legal issues related to divorce, custody, alimony, or paternity. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Duties:

• Handle a variety of legal matters pertaining to family law, including divorce, custody, alimony, and paternity cases.
• Draft and file motions, petitions, pleadings, and other legal documents as necessary.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies and arguments.
• Take depositions of clients, witnesses, and experts.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and settlement negotiations.
• Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to clients on family law issues.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.
• Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and other team members on case management and client communication.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the state of Florida.
• 2+ years of experience practicing Family Law in Florida.
• Expertise in Family Law and related legal issues.
• Experience drafting and filing motions, taking depositions, and representing clients in court.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Active license to practice law in the state of Florida.
