Liability Attorney

A law firm is seeking a Liability Attorney for their office in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Job Overview:

The Liability Attorney will represent individuals and companies in insurance defense matters across Florida, including medical malpractice, personal injury, automobile negligence, and premises liability cases. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in fact investigation, case strategy development, records collection, client collaboration, deposition and hearing attendance, and trial preparation.

Duties:

• Conduct thorough fact investigations for assigned cases.
• Develop effective case strategies in collaboration with clients and colleagues.
• Collect and analyze relevant records, including medical and accident reports.
• Maintain regular communication and collaboration with clients throughout the legal process.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings as required.
• Prepare thoroughly for trials, including evidence compilation and witness preparation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field.
• Admission to the Florida Bar.
• 3-7 years of experience practicing law, focusing on liability cases.
• Strong understanding of Florida laws and regulations related to insurance defense.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
