Bankruptcy and Creditors' Rights Attorney

A law firm in Minneapolis, MN, is seeking a Bankruptcy and Creditors' Rights Attorney with a focus on superior academic performance and strong research, writing, and analytical skills. Active licensure in Minnesota or the ability to waive is required. The preferred candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in bankruptcy, secured creditor remedies, or equipment lease financing.

Duties:

• Specialize in bankruptcy, secured creditor remedies, or equipment lease financing.
• Provide legal counsel and representation in bankruptcy and creditors' rights matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
• Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and agreements.
• Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and goals.
• Stay informed about changes in bankruptcy laws and legal precedents.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.

Requirements:

• At least two years of experience in bankruptcy, secured creditor remedies, or equipment lease financing is preferred.
• Demonstrate superior academic performance and excellence in research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Active licensure in Minnesota or the ability to waive into practice in the state.
