Job Overview
A law firm seeks a talented attorney with over three years of relevant experience to join their Executive Compensation and Governance Practice Group in Chicago. The ideal candidate will possess strong academic credentials, excellent communication skills, and a passion for executive compensation and governance work.

  • Duties
  • Design and draft short- and long-term incentive plans, including profits interest programs and stock option plans.
  • Draft executive employment, severance, and change-in-control agreements.
  • Advise companies and boards on SEC disclosures related to executive compensation.
  • Handle executive compensation issues in corporate transactions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across various disciplines to provide integrated client service.
  • Requirements
  • Experience in executive compensation and governance matters or mergers and acquisitions.
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to communicate confidently with senior executives.
  • Education
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Certifications
  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Illinois.
