A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is currently seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of relevant experience in commercial litigation.

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in commercial litigation matters.
  • Handle all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, motions, discovery, and trial preparation.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on complex issues related to commercial disputes.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including complaints, answers, motions, and briefs.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, arbitrations, and mediation.
  • Develop and implement case strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Manage and coordinate with outside counsel, experts, and other parties involved in litigation.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and strategic advice throughout the litigation process.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in California.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience practicing commercial litigation.
  • Strong litigation skills, including experience with all phases of litigation.
  • Excellent legal research and writing abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop effective strategies.
  • Strong oral advocacy and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience with alternative dispute resolution methods is a plus.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in California.
