Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-senior level Energy Project Finance and Development Associate in Washington, D.C. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with diverse clients across various industries. The role is location flexible, allowing collaboration across multiple office locations.

Duties

  • Engage in energy project development, M&A, and project finance transactions.
  • Draft primary and ancillary transaction documents.
  • Manage complex diligence and transaction management.
  • Supervise and guide junior associates and internal teams.
  • Interact with clients and manage work product.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in energy project development and finance.
  • Familiarity with offtake agreements, interconnection agreements, and energy regulation.
  • Admission to one or more state bars.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in at least one state.
