Job Title: Mid-Level Associate Attorney - Litigation

Job Overview:
A well-established law firm based in Minneapolis, MN, is seeking a mid-level attorney with a strong foundation in complex litigation, specifically focused on Daubert and Rule 702 motion practice within pharmaceutical and medical device matters. This role offers the opportunity to join a collaborative legal team, manage high-stakes litigation strategy, and contribute to nationally significant product liability cases. Candidates will work in a hybrid environment with the flexibility to handle sophisticated assignments both remotely and on-site.

Duties:

• Draft and argue motions involving expert admissibility, including Rule 702 and Daubert challenges

• Develop litigation strategies in coordination with senior attorneys and legal teams

• Collaborate with experts to support case theories and trial preparation

• Guide and mentor junior attorneys and paralegals

• Handle discovery processes, including reviewing and drafting discovery responses

• Participate in depositions and assist with witness preparation

• Prepare legal briefs, memoranda, and client reports with high attention to analytical detail

• Engage with clients and external stakeholders to advance case objectives

• Coordinate complex legal research and strategic planning on evolving case law

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience with a focus on product liability or life sciences litigation

• Demonstrated experience with legal writing in support of expert motion practice

• Strong knowledge of federal evidentiary standards, particularly Rule 702

• Familiarity with pharmaceutical or medical device litigation is highly preferred

• Ability to manage deadlines, lead assignments, and contribute to case development

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution

• Strong academic background preferred

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Minnesota

• Additional admission in New York is considered a plus
