Job Overview:
A law firm in Chicago, IL, is seeking an experienced Insurance Coverage/Litigation Associate Attorney to represent clients in commercial litigation and professional liability matters. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, superior academic credentials, and a solid understanding of insurance policies and coverage issues.

Duties:

• Represent clients in commercial litigation and professional liability litigation.
• Analyze insurance policies to identify coverage issues and draft opinions, reservations, and disclaimers.
• Represent clients in insurance coverage litigation.
• Manage and prioritize multiple projects effectively.

Requirements:

• At least 1+ years of experience in insurance coverage or commercial litigation.
• Experience or interest in insurance coverage, cybersecurity, defense litigation, and/or commercial litigation is a plus.
• Superior academic credentials from a top-tier accredited law school.
• Member in good standing of the Illinois bar; Indiana bar membership is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent legal research and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly.

Education & Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Illinois bar; Indiana bar admission is desirable.
