A law firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Services Senior Associate Attorney to join their team in Orlando, FL. The ideal candidate will have 5-15 years of relevant experience, demonstrating expertise in estate planning, estate and gift taxation, and trust administration for individuals, charitable organizations, foundations, and corporate fiduciaries. International estate planning experience is a plus.

Duties:

  • Provide comprehensive legal services in estate planning, estate and gift taxation, and trust administration
  • Serve individuals, charitable organizations, foundations, and corporate fiduciaries such as banks and trust companies
  • Offer expertise in international estate planning, if applicable
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their unique needs and develop tailored legal strategies
  • Oversee the administration of estates and trusts, ensuring compliance with legal requirements
  • Advise clients on wealth preservation, tax efficiency, and succession planning
  • Draft and review legal documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney
  • Handle complex matters related to wealth transfer, asset protection, and charitable giving
  • Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations affecting private clients
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, demonstrating a commitment to client satisfaction
  • Work collaboratively with other legal professionals and support staff to deliver high-quality legal services

Requirements:

  • 5-15 years of relevant experience in estate planning, estate, and gift taxation, and trust administration
  • Experience serving individuals, charitable organizations, foundations, and corporate fiduciaries
  • International estate planning experience is a plus
  • LLM in Tax or Estate Planning is preferred
  • Must be or be willing to become a member of the Florida Bar

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • LLM in Tax or Estate Planning (preferred)

Certifications:

  • Membership in the Florida Bar or willingness to become a member

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of estate planning, estate, and gift taxation, and trust administration
  • Strong drafting and review skills for legal documents
  • Ability to provide strategic advice on wealth preservation and tax efficiency
  • Excellent client relationship management skills
  • Current awareness of changes in tax laws and regulations affecting private clients
