Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Commercial Real Estate Associate Attorney to join its team in Rochester, NY. Duties

  • Assist with commercial property transactions, including purchases, sales, development, leasing, and financing.
  • Draft and negotiate loan documents, leases, easements, and closing documentation.
  • Facilitate due diligence and conduct title and survey reviews.
  • Represent developers, business owners, and financial institutions in transactional matters.
  • Collaborate with partners and clients to manage deals from start to finish.
  • Provide strategic legal guidance to clients while managing risk and ensuring compliance.
  • Oversee non-attorney closing personnel and manage closing checklists and timelines.
  • Participate in client development efforts.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions.
  • J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to practice in New York State.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Team-oriented, with a collaborative mindset.

Education

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
