Bankruptcy Associate Attorney

Houston office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks bankruptcy associate attorney with 3+ years of experience in consumer or commercial bankruptcies and a desire to litigate at the state level. The candidate will manage a high-volume workload in both bankruptcy court and state court. Will communicate daily with clients, taxpayers, staff, and others verbally and in writing. Draft, review, and respond to documents in a timely manner prior to deadlines. Prepare for and attend weekly court hearings and trials in Harris and surrounding counties. Represent clients as creditors in bankruptcy. Develop and maintain relationships with clients. Attend local evening and weekend events and statewide conferences. Should preferably have complex chapter 11 experience. Should be licensed in Texas. Admitted to practice in the Southern District of Texas is strongly preferred or able to become admitted.
