Job Overview: A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a Real Estate Transactions And Finance Associate Attorney with at least 3 years of experience in real estate transactions. The ideal candidate should possess a diverse skill set, including expertise in acquisitions, dispositions, exchanges, ground leasing, commercial leasing, financing, construction, development, joint ventures, secured loans, and workouts.

Duties:

  • Negotiate and draft closing purchase and sale agreements, commercial and ground leases, subleases, development agreements, construction contracts, property management agreements, and other real estate transaction documents.
  • Handle various real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, exchanges, ground leasing, commercial leasing, financing, construction, development, joint ventures, secured loans, and workouts.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in joint venture and project finance (experience in these areas is a plus).
  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to real estate transactions.
  • Exhibit excellent writing, research, and communication skills.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate transactions.
  • Bar membership in good standing in CA.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications:

  • Bar membership in good standing in CA.

Skills:

  • Strong negotiation and drafting skills for various real estate transaction documents.
  • Excellent writing, research, and communication skills.
