Civil Litigation Attorney

A law firm seeks an experienced civil litigation attorney to join its team in Fayetteville, NC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in all stages of civil litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial proceedings. Duties:

• Handle all phases of civil litigation, from initial case assessments through discovery, depositions, and trial.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and prepare relevant legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Represent clients in court, depositions, and during trial proceedings.
• Engage in motion practice and successfully argue motions in court.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and staff to strategize and manage cases.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear and consistent communication.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation.
• Proven experience handling discovery, depositions, and motion practice.
• Trial experience is preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active North Carolina Bar membership.

Certifications:

• North Carolina Bar license required.
