Mid-Level Complex Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm is currently seeking a highly qualified Mid-Level Complex Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team. The attorney will be responsible for handling various aspects of commercial litigation, including discovery, depositions, pleadings, and document review. The candidate is expected to have excellent academic credentials, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.

Duties:

• Manage and conduct discovery processes in complex litigation cases.
• Take and defend depositions as part of case preparation.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Oversee and coordinate document review processes efficiently.
• Provide support in court proceedings and demonstrate in-court experience.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and execution.
• Conduct legal research and stay current on relevant case law and industry developments.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the California Bar or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.
• Should have experience in commercial litigation.
• Proven in-court experience is preferred.
• Exceptional academic credentials and law firm experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
