A law firm in Madison is currently seeking an Intellectual Property Associate Attorney with 2-7 years of experience. The successful candidate will work on various aspects of intellectual property and is required to have a degree in engineering or science or be eligible to sit for the Patent Bar.

 

Duties:

  • Engage in various aspects of intellectual property law.
  • Conduct patent prosecution, including drafting and filing applications.
  • Perform patent portfolio analysis and provide strategic advice to clients.
  • Assist in intellectual property litigation matters.
  • Conduct legal research and stay abreast of developments in IP law.

  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams on IP matters.

 

Requirements:

  • 2-7 years of intellectual property law experience.
  • Degree in engineering or science.
  • Eligibility to sit for the Patent Bar.

 

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or science.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.

  • Strong knowledge of intellectual property laws and regulations.
