A law firm in Dallas, TX, is actively seeking an IP Litigation Associate Attorney with 1-5 years of experience to join their team. The firm is looking for a candidate with a strong technical background, a preference for an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering or computer science, excellent academic credentials, and a proven track record in intellectual property litigation.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in a variety of intellectual property litigation matters, including patent, trademark, and copyright disputes.
  • Conduct thorough legal research, draft legal documents, and assist in case preparation and strategy development.
  • Collaborate closely with senior attorneys and clients to provide legal counsel and strategic guidance.
  • Appear in court, and attend hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings as necessary.
  • Manage and maintain case files, documentation, and records to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Requirements:

  • 1-5 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on intellectual property litigation preferred.
  • Strong technical background is highly desirable.
  • An undergraduate degree in electrical engineering or computer science is preferred.
  • Active membership in the State Bar of Texas.
  • Exceptional research and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in drafting legal documents and effective communication.
