Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney specializing in Personal Injury for their Louisville, KY office. The ideal candidate will manage projects from conception to completion, handle multiple calendars, and provide excellent client service. Duties

• Manage day-to-day caseload, including client communication and insurance claims.
• Handle litigation tasks, including depositions and trial preparation.
• Draft discovery responses and initial pleadings.
• Create medical billing summaries and evidence charts for trial.
• Schedule and follow up on Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs).
• Assist with case closure and lien finalization.

Requirements

• Two years of personal injury experience preferred, including roles as a law clerk.
• Active Kentucky Bar license in good standing.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Kentucky.

Skills

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with computers; Apple experience preferred.
