A law firm seeks a highly qualified mid-level or senior associate to join their Government Contracts and Grants subspecialty within the Global Trade practice in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 7 years of experience in due diligence related to investments, acquisitions, sales, or corporate reorganizations involving state or federal government agencies.

Duties

• Conduct due diligence for transactions involving government contracts.
• Review and analyze contracts and prepare disclosure schedules.
• Analyze corporate compliance programs for government end users.

Requirements

• Outstanding academic credentials.
• Comparable law firm experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• District of Columbia bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

• Bar admission in the District of Columbia.
