Job Overview: A law firm seeks a highly skilled and experienced Sports, Media, and Entertainment Finance and Transactions Associate Attorney to join its dynamic team in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will be crucial in handling entertainment transactions and providing expert legal counsel in the sports, media, and entertainment sectors.

Job Details:

  • Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence efficiently and responsively.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and quality work products.
  • Successfully meet deadlines, and expectations, and perform work duties as required.
  • Foster positive work relationships and collaborate with colleagues.
  • Comply with all firm policies and practices.
  • Engage in physical and sedentary activities, including working at a computer for extended periods, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as needed.
  • Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of entertainment transactional experience at a law firm.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team.
  • Strong academic background from nationally recognized schools.
  • Must be licensed to practice in California.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active California State Bar license.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in handling entertainment transactions.
