Litigation Attorney

A law firm is seeking a Litigation Attorney for their office in West Covina, CA.

Job Overview:

The Litigation Attorney will manage all aspects of litigation cases from inception to resolution, collaborating closely with other attorneys and staff.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis related to litigation matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and arbitrations.
• Conducted depositions and participated in mediation and settlement negotiations.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on litigation strategies and options.
• Manage caseload and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an attorney practicing litigation.
• An active Bar license is required in the state of California.
• Strong understanding of civil litigation procedures and laws.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Proven track record of successful case outcomes and client satisfaction.

Education & Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of California.
