Job Overview:

The Estate Planning and Probate Associate Attorney will provide legal counsel and support to clients in estate planning and probate law matters. This role involves handling various tasks to ensure clients' estate plans are effectively structured and administered.

Duties:

  • Conducting client consultations to assess their estate planning needs and objectives
  • Drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents
  • Reviewing and analyzing estate planning documents prepared by other attorneys
  • Assisting with the administration of trusts and estates, including probate proceedings
  • Advising clients on estate and gift tax implications and strategies

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the Massachusetts State Bar or eligibility for admission by waiver
  • 1-4 years of experience practicing estate planning and probate law

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
