A law firm in Boston is seeking a Mid-level Litigation Associate Attorney with a focus on trademark, trade secrets, and false advertising matters. The ideal candidate will provide counseling to clients, conduct legal research, support litigation efforts, and communicate effectively with clients. The position involves active participation in due diligence, educational seminars, and practice groups while offering direct assistance to senior lawyers.

 

Duties:

  • Provide trademark counseling to clients.
  • Conducted brief or complex research and drafted memoranda on judicature and specific legal issues.
  • Support counseling and litigation for trade secret, trademark, and false advertising matters.
  • Communicate with clients via telephone and email.
  • Participate in due diligence, analyzing agreements in data rooms and providing subsequent descriptions.
  • Provide direct assistance to senior lawyers in day-to-day legal services for international and domestic corporate clients.
  • Join educational seminars and practice groups.

 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of relevant law firm or in-house experience.
  • Admitted to the Bar of the State.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Experience in trademark, trade secrets, and false advertising.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Skills:

  • Excellent research and drafting skills.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
