A law firm seeks a Commercial Leasing Associate in Charlotte, NC. This role offers an opportunity to engage with sophisticated clients in the dynamic data center and energy sectors. Duties

  • Draft and negotiate commercial leases and related agreements.
  • Handle transfer consents, lender subordination agreements, work letters, and SNDAs.
  • Address development issues related to power, water, and fiber-optic infrastructure.
  • Engage in zoning, entitlements, and permit processes.

Requirements

  • 4 to 7 years of commercial leasing experience.
  • Experience with service level agreements and data center construction preferred.
  • Excellent writing and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Education

  • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly in the jurisdiction of resident office location.

Skills

  • Comprehensive understanding of development issues.
  • Experience with zoning, entitlements, and permit processes.
