Family Law Attorney / Lawyer

Job Overview: A law firm in Pasadena, CA, is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney / Lawyer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent writing skills, and the ability to handle a high volume of complex cases with minimal supervision. This role involves engaging in various aspects of family law practice, including court appearances, depositions, motions, research, and witness interviews.

Duties:

• Represent clients in family law proceedings, including but not limited to divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, and property division.
• Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and prepare pleadings and motions.
• Attend court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
• Conduct depositions and witness interviews.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Manage a high asset and highly complex caseload with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

• Graduated from an ABA-accredited Law School.
• ABA License issued for California.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience practicing Family Law.
• Courtroom experience is essential.
• Must be in good standing with the ABA.

Education & Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited Law School.
• ABA License issued for California.
