Associate Attorney needed for Fort Lauderdale office

A law firm in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking an Associate Attorney with a focus on foreclosure litigation. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling depositions, hearings, and mediations, with admission to all three District Courts in Florida as preferable. Bankruptcy experience and general civil litigation experience, particularly in PIP cases, are advantageous. Duties:

• Manage a caseload of foreclosure litigation matters.
• Handle depositions, hearings, mediations, and contested trials.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Assist with case strategy development.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to all three District Courts in Florida (preferred).
• 2+ years of foreclosure litigation experience.
• Experience with motion practice and contested trials.
• Ability to work independently and manage a large caseload effectively.
• Bankruptcy experience (preferred).
• General civil litigation experience, particularly in PIP cases (preferred).
• Outstanding writing ability.
• Excellent research and case management skills.

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to all three District Courts in Florida (preferred).
