Mid-Level Private Equity Finance Associate Attorney

A law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Private Equity Finance Associate Attorney for their Los Angeles, CA office. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team and contribute to the firm's private equity finance practice. Below are the job details:

Job Overview:

• Position: Mid-Level Private Equity Finance Associate Attorney
• Location: Los Angeles, CA
• Firm: Established law firm specializing in finance and corporate law

Duties:

• Provide legal advice and support on private equity finance matters
• Draft and negotiate financing agreements, including credit agreements, security agreements, and inter-creditor agreements
• Conduct due diligence and risk assessment for financing transactions
• Collaborate with clients and senior attorneys to develop and execute financing strategies
• Handle documentation and closing processes for financing transactions

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of private credit, acquisition finance, or leveraged finance experience
• Experience in borrower-side representation, preferably working with private equity sponsors
• Strong preference for candidates with experience in general company-side representation
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the California State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the California State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity
