Job Overview:

The firm has a proven track record of representing financial services companies in complex litigation, including Ponzi scheme cases, class actions, and high-stakes consumer claims. This position offers a dynamic and challenging role where the attorney will be expected to take an active part in all aspects of litigation while working within a collaborative team environment.

Duties:

  • Assist in all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
  • Work closely with senior attorneys to strategize and manage complex cases
  • Represent clients in hearings, depositions, and court appearances
  • Conduct legal research and provide insightful legal analysis
  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys and other professionals to deliver results
  • Engage with clients directly, building relationships and understanding their needs

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of relevant litigation experience, ideally with a focus on financial services
  • Prior court experience is a plus
  • Judicial clerkship experience is highly desirable
  • Strong academic credentials
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues
  • California State Bar membership required

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the California State Bar
