Job Duties:

• Consulting with clients to understand case details and objectives
• Working collaboratively as part of a litigation team on complex legal matters
• Preparing comprehensive case files and maintaining organized documentation
• Drafting various legal documents, including pleadings, discovery demands and responses, motion papers, and legal briefs
• Conducting thorough legal research to support case strategies
• Representing clients in court appearances and case-related conferences
• Assisting in or conducting depositions as needed
• Participating in document review and production processes

Requirements:

• Admission to the New York Bar
• Prior experience in litigation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong research, writing, and litigation abilities
• Analytical thinking skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in computer skills
• Effective time management and organizational abilities
• First chair trial experience is a plus

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Admission to the New York State Bar
