Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney for their Dallas, TX, location.

Job Overview:

The Litigation Associate Attorney will support the firm's litigation practice by assisting in various stages of litigation, from case inception to resolution. The successful candidate will have a strong background in litigation, excellent research and writing skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Duties:

• Handle written discovery and depositions
• Draft pleadings and substantive motions
• Attend mediations and court appearances
• Assist in trial preparation and proceedings
• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Collaborate with partners and senior associates on case strategy and client communication
• Maintain organized case files and documentation

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of litigation experience
• Strong academic record from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Texas State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity
• Excellent research and writing skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Texas State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity
