Attorney with 3-6 years of experience

A law firm in Short Hills, NJ, seeks an Attorney with 3-6 years of experience in civil litigation, particularly in state and federal courts. The ideal candidate will possess excellent research, writing, and analytical skills, with a preference for those experienced in conducting and defending depositions, managing case dockets, and appearing in court. This is a non-partnership track position, and candidates licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey are encouraged to apply.

Duties:

• Conduct civil litigation in state and federal courts.
• Demonstrate excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Conduct and defend depositions as needed.
• Manage a case docket efficiently and effectively.
• Appear in court as required.

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of experience as an attorney.
• Civil litigation experience, preferably in toxic tort and asbestos cases.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience in conducting and defending depositions.
• Management of case dockets and courtroom appearances is preferred.
• Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Bar in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
