Consumer Financial Services, Data and Technology (CFS+) Associate

Job Overview:
A leading law firm is seeking a mid-level Associate Attorney with 3 to 5 years of commercial litigation experience to join its Consumer Financial Services, Data, and Technology (CFS+) Practice Group in New York. Location:

Duties:

• Handle commercial litigation matters involving consumer financial services and data technology issues

• Represent clients in federal and state courts across a range of financial services litigation

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery

• Provide strategic analysis and litigation support for financial institutions

• Participate in hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations

• Collaborate with a team of attorneys on high-profile and complex litigation matters

• Stay informed on legal developments affecting consumer finance and data security

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in commercial litigation

• Experience litigating in both federal and state courts

• Financial institutions litigation experience preferred

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple active matters

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active member in good standing of the New York State Bar (required)

• Excellent legal research, analytical, and writing skills
