Privacy And Cyber Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Atlanta, GA, seeks a Privacy And Cyber Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of significant litigation and case management experience. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day case activities, lead fact investigations, research legal issues, develop litigation strategies, draft pleadings, conduct and defend depositions, negotiate with opposing counsel, and work on a team while managing junior attorneys. Strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage client relationships are essential. Experience with the Fair Credit Reporting Act or other privacy-related statutes is a plus.

Duties:

• Manage day-to-day case activities
• Lead fact investigations
• Research legal issues and develop litigation strategies
• Draft pleadings, including answers, motions to dismiss, and motions for summary judgment
• Conduct and defend depositions
• Negotiate with opposing counsel
• Work on a team and manage junior attorneys

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of significant litigation and case management experience
• Excellent academic and professional credentials
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Comfortable managing client relationships
• Ability to deliver smaller projects with limited supervision
• Assist and confidently manage workflow for larger projects
• Experience with the Fair Credit Reporting Act or other privacy-related statutes is a plus
• Must be in good standing in GA

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the State Bar of Georgia
