Junior Litigation Attorney

A law firm in Delray Beach, FL, is seeking a Junior Litigation Attorney with 1-6 years of experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will assist in various aspects of litigation matters and provide support to senior attorneys.

Duties:

• Assist senior attorneys in all phases of litigation, including case preparation, discovery, motion practice, and trial.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings as necessary.
• Assist in case management and organization, including maintaining case files and calendars.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff members to ensure efficient case progression.
• Participate in case strategy discussions and client meetings.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida State Bar or eligibility for admission by motion.
• 1-6 years of experience practicing litigation law, preferably in a law firm setting.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.

Education:
