Mid-Level Associate Attorney needed for Princeton office

Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a highly skilled Mid-Level Associate Attorney to join their team in Princeton, NJ. The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of experience in complex finance transactions, focusing on sponsor-backed leveraged finance. They will be responsible for playing a key role in deal teams, overseeing fundamental aspects of transactions from due diligence to closing.

Duties:

• Serve as a key member of deal teams, taking responsibility for running fundamental aspects of transactions.
• Conduct thorough due diligence and analysis of complex finance transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents.
• Provide legal counsel and strategic advice to clients throughout the transaction process.
• Collaborate effectively with partners, clients, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

• 4-7 years of experience in complex finance transactions.
• Substantial experience in sponsor-backed leveraged finance is preferred.
• Experience representing borrowers, lenders, and agents in various finance transactions.
• Must be licensed and in good standing in New Jersey.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New Jersey State Bar.
