A respected law firm is seeking a junior associate attorney to join its Alcohol & Hospitality practice group in Nashville, Tennessee. This full-time, in-office position is ideal for a recent law school graduate or a candidate completing a clerkship, who is interested in regulatory, licensing, and business matters specific to the alcohol and hospitality industry. The role provides an excellent opportunity for professional development within a collaborative, high-performing legal team.

Assist with licensing and compliance matters for clients in the alcohol and hospitality industry
Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, legal opinions, and client correspondence
Prepare and file regulatory applications and supporting documentation
Monitor regulatory developments affecting industry clients
Draft and review commercial contracts, including vendor and operational agreements
Communicate with state and local agencies regarding licensing and regulatory matters
Support senior attorneys with litigation or administrative proceedings, as needed
Maintain organized case files and client documentation
0–2 years of legal experience (recent graduates or judicial clerks encouraged to apply)
Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills
Interest in administrative/regulatory law and business operations within hospitality and alcohol sectors
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Licensed to practice law in Tennessee or eligible to waive into the Tennessee Bar
Legal research and analysis
Clear and concise legal writing
Regulatory and compliance understanding (alcohol licensing a plus)
Time and task management
Client communication and professionalism
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research platforms
