Duties

  • Assist with licensing and compliance matters for clients in the alcohol and hospitality industry

  • Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, legal opinions, and client correspondence

  • Prepare and file regulatory applications and supporting documentation

  • Monitor regulatory developments affecting industry clients

  • Draft and review commercial contracts, including vendor and operational agreements

  • Communicate with state and local agencies regarding licensing and regulatory matters

  • Support senior attorneys with litigation or administrative proceedings, as needed

  • Maintain organized case files and client documentation

Requirements

  • 0–2 years of legal experience (recent graduates or judicial clerks encouraged to apply)

  • Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills

  • Interest in administrative/regulatory law and business operations within hospitality and alcohol sectors

  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Tennessee or eligible to waive into the Tennessee Bar
