Mid-Level Associate Attorney needed for Pittsburgh office

Job Overview: A law firm in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking a Mid-Level Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of experience with complex finance transactions, focusing on sponsor-backed leveraged finance. The successful candidate will be responsible for running fundamental aspects of transactions, from due diligence through closing, and will represent borrowers, lenders, and/or agents in various finance transactions.

Duties:

• Act as a key member of deal teams, overseeing fundamental aspects of transactions from due diligence to closing
• Provide legal advice and support on complex finance transactions
• Draft, review, and negotiate transactional documents, including loan agreements, security documents, and other relevant contracts
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support transactional matters
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders

Requirements:

• 4-7 years of experience in complex finance transactions
• Substantial expertise in sponsor-backed leveraged finance
• Experience representing borrowers, lenders, and/or agents in finance transactions
• Licensed and in good standing with the Pennsylvania Bar Association

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar
