Banking and Finance Associate Attorney

A law firm in New York City is seeking an experienced Banking and Finance Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in transactional lending, with a preference for those with expertise in leveraged lending. This role involves both drafting and negotiating commitment papers, terms sheets, credit agreements, and security documents. While private equity sponsor-side experience is preferred, candidates with experience working for banks and lending counsel are also encouraged to apply.

Duties:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of financial documents, including commitment papers, terms sheets, credit agreements, and security documents.
• Provide legal counsel and support in transactional lending matters, with a focus on leveraged lending.
• Collaborate with clients and legal teams to ensure successful financial transactions.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of legal experience.
• Experience in transactional lending, especially leveraged lending.
• Admission to the New York Bar.
