Location

Duties

  • Represent clients in family law matters including divorce, custody, child support, and alimony

  • Attend court hearings, trials, and mediations

  • Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents

  • Conduct legal research and case analysis

  • Work closely with clients to develop case strategies and explain legal options

  • Argue motions and participate in courtroom litigation

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal team members

  • Maintain accurate case records and manage caseload independently over time

Requirements

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of North Carolina (required)

  • Willingness to work hard and contribute as part of a team

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Client-centered approach with a desire to help families through challenging legal matters

  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn

  • Entry-level candidates and those with limited experience will be considered

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

  • Strong academic credentials preferred

Certifications

  • Active bar membership in North Carolina (required)
