Duties

• Review case-related documents prepared by staff for execution.
• Conduct legal research and prepare case responses.
• Communicate with opposing counsel and clients.
• Manage calendar deadlines and prepare accordingly.
• Prepare exhibits for court proceedings.
• Make court appearances for pretrials, divorces, and minor motions.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in North Carolina (South Carolina license is a plus).
• 1-3 years of experience in family law.
• Self-motivated and organized with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in North Carolina.
