A law firm in Palm Beach is actively seeking a highly experienced Business Litigation Attorney with a Florida license and a minimum of 10+ years of experience in commercial matters. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in the courtroom, with specific experience in deposition, motion, and trial proceedings related to breach of contract and other litigation matters. Knowledge or experience in cybersecurity issues is considered a valuable asset.

 

Duties:

  • Handle all aspects of business litigation cases, with a focus on breach of contract and related matters.
  • Conduct depositions, motions, and trials to effectively represent clients.
  • Provide legal counsel on commercial litigation strategies and potential risks.
  • Draft, review, and analyze legal documents, including pleadings and contracts.
  • Stay abreast of changes in business and cybersecurity laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop and execute case strategies.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida Bar.
  • 10+ years of experience in business litigation and commercial matters.
  • Proven courtroom experience in deposition, motion, and trial proceedings.
  • Preferably, experience in handling cybersecurity issues.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the Florida Bar.
