  • Conduct thorough freedom-to-operate and landscape analysis.
  • Prepare patentability, invalidity, and non-infringement opinions.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to provide legal counsel on patent matters.
  • Perform legal research and analysis to support case strategy.
  • Attend hearings, meetings, and negotiations as required.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of patent law experience.
  • Technical background in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • Admission to the Michigan Bar and U.S. Patent Bar.
  • Excellent academic credentials.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Bachelors or advanced degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Michigan Bar.
  • Admission to the U.S. Patent Bar.

Skills:
