A law firm in Greensboro, NC, is seeking a highly experienced Personal Injury Trial Attorney to handle complex personal injury cases, develop case strategies, and represent clients in various legal proceedings. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possess strong litigation skills.

Duties:

  • Handle and develop strategy for complex Personal Injury cases, including trucking and catastrophic injury cases.
  • Work in a team-oriented and collaborative environment to represent clients effectively.
  • Attend and represent clients in all case-related settings, including mediations, arbitrations, depositions, hearings, trials, and client interactions.
  • Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for clients and provide legal guidance.
  • Analyze legal and medical data to determine insurance coverage, liability, damages, and overall case strategy.
  • Conduct research, guide clients, and prepare details in preparation for case-related events.
  • Develop settlement brochures, strategies, and arguments for case presentations.
  • Ensure legal compliance concerning disbursements and settlement funds.
  • Utilize available technology effectively to perform job duties.
  • Establish and build relationships with other professionals in the communities served to enhance brand recognition, marketing efforts, and client service.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Membership in the NC State Bar (additional State Bar memberships a plus).
  • 10+ years of civil litigation experience.
  • Lead Attorney experience in successfully litigating complex personal injury cases to verdict in state and federal court.
  • Extensive independent judgment to make decisions with substantial impact on the department.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited college or university.

Certifications:

  • Membership in the NC State Bar (additional State Bar memberships a plus).
