A law firm located in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Associate Attorney with 1-5 years of broad commercial real estate experience or corporate experience. The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills and experience drafting and negotiating transaction documents, including purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, loan documents, and closing documents. Experience in reviewing and resolving title and survey issues is preferred. Excellent academic credentials and analytical skills are also required. The candidate must be admitted to practice in New York State, and admissions in other jurisdictions would be welcomed. Duties:

  • Draft and negotiate transaction documents, including purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, loan documents, and closing documents.
  • Review and resolve title and survey issues.
  • Conduct due diligence investigations.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on commercial real estate matters.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy and legal analysis.
  • Manage multiple transactions simultaneously and meet deadlines.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice in New York State; admissions in other jurisdictions welcomed.
  • 1-5 years of broad commercial real estate experience or corporate experience.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience drafting and negotiating transaction documents.
  • Experience reviewing and resolving title and survey issues preferred.
  • Excellent academic credentials and analytical skills.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:
