A law firm in San Francisco is seeking a Junior to Mid-level Insurance Coverage Associate Attorney with a strong litigation background to handle a variety of duties related to insurance coverage litigation. The ideal candidate will have experience analyzing coverage issues, drafting coverage opinions, pleadings, and motions, as well as conducting discovery and representing clients in court proceedings.

Duties:

  • Analyze coverage issues and provide coverage opinions to clients
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents related to insurance coverage litigation
  • Conduct discovery, including taking and defending depositions
  • Attend court conferences and argue motions on behalf of clients
  • Represent clients in various stages of litigation, from initial filing to resolution

Requirements:

  • Admission in good standing to the California Bar
  • Additional admissions in other states are a plus
  • 4+ years of California practice experience
  • Strong litigation background with experience in insurance coverage matters
  • Ability to analyze complex legal issues and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
