A law firm in San Diego is seeking a talented Mid-level Litigation/White Collar and Investigations Associate Attorney with a strong background in complex business litigation and a keen interest in white collar criminal matters. The ideal candidate should demonstrate exceptional writing abilities, the capacity to independently manage cases, and hold a valid license to practice law in California. Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to complex business litigation and white collar criminal cases.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Assist in case strategy development and implementation.
  • Conduct witness interviews and prepare deposition outlines.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on case management and trial preparation.
  • Maintain communication with clients, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of California.
  • Strong interest or experience in white collar criminal matters and investigations.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Proven ability to manage cases independently with minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
