Civil Litigation Attorney

A law firm in Lakewood, CO, is seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney who is skilled, diligent, creative, and a team player. The candidate will be responsible for handling all phases of civil litigation from pre-suit investigation to trial or arbitration.

Duties:

• Conduct pre-suit investigations and case evaluations
• Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests
• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Prepare for and attend court hearings, trials, and arbitrations
• Represent clients in mediation and settlement negotiations
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
• Manage case files and deadlines
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to achieve successful outcomes

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the State Bar of Colorado
• Demonstrated experience in civil litigation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Diligent work ethic and attention to detail

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
