Duties:

  • Assist clients in real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing.
  • Provide legal counsel and support to clients in matters related to renewable energy projects.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support client cases and projects.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to real estate transactions and renewables.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and other dispute resolution processes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners in the firm to develop legal strategies and solutions for clients.
  • Attend meetings, hearings, and court proceedings as required.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Indiana State Bar or eligibility for admission.
  • Minimum of 3 years of transactional experience in commercial real estate law.
  • Experience in renewable energy projects is a strong plus.
  • Strong academic record demonstrating legal aptitude and proficiency.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
  • Adherence to ethical and professional standards.

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in the state of Indiana.
