Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly-skilled litigation attorney to join its Los Angeles, California office as an Income Partner. The role involves working within a dynamic Litigation Group known for handling complex insurance claims and high-stakes litigation cases. This position offers a hybrid work environment.

Duties

• Oversee complex insurance coverage litigation and manage multiple cases from intake through settlement or trial.
• Develop and implement litigation strategies and budgets.
• Conduct and defend depositions, and argue dispositive motions.
• Provide strategic legal advice in business, professional liability, and employment disputes.
• Negotiate and draft settlement agreements.
• Assist with marketing and business development to drive firm growth.
• Supervise associate attorneys and collaborate with paralegals and legal staff.

Requirements

• Active California bar license.
• At least 6 years of litigation experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional writing, organizational, and advocacy skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active California bar license.
