Biotech Patent Agent

Dallas office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a biotech patent agent with experience. The candidate will draft and prosecute domestic and foreign patent applications in the fields of biotechnology and life sciences. Will conduct technical research to support clients technology. Provide technical support for the practice. Ph.D. in molecular genetics, molecular biology, chemistry, or a related field is required, together with a strong academic record. Law firm experience or experience working as a Patent Examiner with the USPTO is preferred. Registration to practice before the USPTO is preferred.

The candidate should have strong persuasive writing skills and excellent attention to detail. Must have strong analytical skills and an ability to convey technical ideas concisely and effectively. Excellent written and oral communication skills are needed.
