Civil Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in San Luis Obispo, CA is seeking a Civil Litigation Associate Attorney with 4+ years of experience to join their team. The successful candidate will assist in handling a busy caseload primarily consisting of real property and business disputes. Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, and briefs
• Manage discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediation, and arbitration
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and courts
• Assist in trial preparation and attendance
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and paralegals on case strategy and management

Requirements:

• 4+ years of civil litigation experience
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the State Bar of California in good standing
• Experience with real property and business disputes preferred

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:
